Digital wallets Cash in and Cash out convenience made possible with over 3000 Cebuana Lhuillier branches nationwide

We are made to live now and adapt to the so called new normal way of living in the digital world. The pandemic situation has led everybody to jump in the transition faster than it was expected. Initially, for safety reasons, cashless transactions have been the trend. Then we realized, it is possible and most of all, it’s more convenient. This paved the way to a wider use of Digital Financial Services. Online banking and digital or e-wallets came into the picture and it seems they are here to stay, for good!

Actually, when we were in Coron, Palawan, I ran out of cash to spend, (there were still some vendors and services that you need to pay in cash) and I don’t have my ATM with me that time. But of course, I have my mobile phone, and Gcash.  Luckily, while walking in the busy streets along the area, we chance upon a Cebuana Lhuillier branch and lo and behold, I was able to cash out from my e-wallet. It’s a first for me and the experience was pleasant, no long waiting time required, no tons of requirements, only a valid ID.  Such a relief! I can continue to enjoy the beauty of Coron without worrying where to get cash. Cebuana Lhuillier has been my savior that time!

Basically, here's what I did?

1.  I approached the Cebuana Lhuillier teller and told her I need to cash out from my Gcash.

2.     She gave me a form. I filled it out. (Gcash number and the amount I intend to cash out.

3.     I submitted the form together with one valid ID.

4.     I waited for a while (Cebuana teller processing my request). Text validation message sent to my mobile, I key in my MPIN.

Teller called me and gave the amount I am cashing out.

Simple and easy. Very minimal transaction fee applies. Check out their branch for the rates. By the way, at Cebuana, you can also do cash in transactions to your e-wallets. Almost same procedure applies.

With over 3,000 branches nationwide, Cebuana Lhuillier (CLH) have made it possible for clients to conduct seamless money transfer transactions to and from Gcash and other online remittance channels. We need not to worry running out of cash anywhere. You can even call a friend to send you the amount you need real-time too, if you don’t have an e-wallet. Now I really have peace of mind. Even in my workplace in San Juan, I saw, there's Cebuana branch there, around 200m walk away from us.

With my pleasant cashing out experience at Cebuana, I checked on them further in Facebook. Not only limited to cash in and cash out, Cebuana Lhuillier has a lot more of services to offer. From pawning to Micro savings to Remittances, plus a bunch of very timely promos that goes along with them, they are indeed a worthy and reliable financial services institution to partner with. CLH is really making sure that individuals and businesses have access to useful and affordable financial products and services they need, transactions, payments, savings, credit and insurance, delivered in a quick, responsible and sustainable way.

Building out broader avenues enable most people to be comfortable going digital. For one, knowing that you can convert cash into e-money and back again as needed gives us all peace of mind. Thanks to financial institution providers like Cebuana Lhuillier for making our lives easier and worry free! It is a fact that the Philippines is too fragmented geographically and reaching out thru traditional means is not always easy. That is why CLH branches are strategically located in almost all towns and cities in the Philippines, even in the far-flung provinces.

With financial services providers like Cebuana Lhuillier, we are now future-ready, where digital wallets, electronic fund transfers and disbursements will be part of our new normal way of living.
