Captains of Industries: Honoring Today's Visionary Business Leaders for Nation-Building

A captain of industry was a business leader whose means contributed positively to the country in some way. It may have been through increased productivity, expansion of markets, providing more jobs, or acts of philanthropy.

For this year, Tag Media Group, with CEO Andrew Troy Nicolas, together with the different embassies in the Philippines, will join together to recognize and highlight the business leaders of this generation. The ambassadors from the embassies of Poland, Malaysia, Hungary, Thailand, and Vietnam will present the leaders on December 20, 2023 at the historic The Manila Hotel.

There will be 20 leaders to be recognized based on the endorsements of the Ambassadors and the Board of Advisers, including tycoons from different industries, such as Dr. Elton See Tan of Federation Of Filipino Chinese Chambers Of Commerce & Industry, Inc. - FFCCCII and Robert Laurel Yupangco of Philippine Korea Economic Council PhilKorec among others.

This is for nation-building and to inspire the upcoming leaders in the country and beyond. People saw them as Captains of Industry because they were inventive and hardworking, leading the way to their businesses' rise, therefore contributing to stabilizing the country's economy.
