Sunday Eco-Market at historical Intramuros

Been to Intramuros last Sunday for a purpose… to witness the opening of the first ever Old Manila Eco-Market.

I remember visiting the historical Intramuros and the Manila Cathedral long time ago during school field trips. I felt good to be in the area once again, thanks to this Eco Market.

The Eco Market is located in Plaza Roma, directly in front of the Cathedral. White tents are neatly lined up all over the area.

It’s a sort of tiangge at the Plaza, where you can buy eco-friendly products and proudly pinoy-made items. There are also food stalls to satisfy your tummy, and there are fresh organic fruits as well.

Here’s some of my great finds for the day:

Beeswax wraps.. reusable... keeps food fresh

Home-made Dishwashing Liquid, Hand soap, car shamppoo, pet shampoo... all sold by the ml... in your own refillable bottles

Essential Oil Blends and Wax
And a whole lot more…

You’ve got to see for yourself, visit this place soonest!
They are open every Sunday from 7am to 5pm. For more information, follow their FB page, Old Manila Eco Market

Don't know how to get to Plaza Roma - Intramuros - Manila Cathedral, by bus, jeep, or train? Click here to get directions.

Bayleaf Hotel gives you special discounts on their staycation and rental packages.

Drop by the Cathedral to pray, stroll along the streets of Intramuros, then shop at this newest EcoMarket in town

Perfect!
