It was my 2nd year to visit the annual
Mccormick event, it was their 5th this year. Last year, Mccormick
brings the flavor of East Asia to Life with the star of the event, the Agemono
Fry Set (tonkatsu, tempura,
and karaage) and the Dipping Set (Sweet Chili, Teriyaki, Tonkatsu, and
Sriracha). Took
home some of these new products and my son love the Dipping set very much.
Mccormick never stops to think of new product line to offer to theur valued
customers.
Not to be left out are
the kids whom mommy and daddy tagged along with them. They enjoyed the kid’s
corner fun-filled with events and treats made especially for them. The event
was really well-thought off, designed for the entire family.
McCormick Flavor Nation Festival is an annual event that celebrates good
food and good flavor. Admission
is free. There were live cooking demos by enterprising home cooks, food tastings,
and various food and drinks for sale.
In this year’s theme, “Feast of Flavorful Finds”, McCormick partnered
with local farmers, Session Groceries and Down to Earth, to promote the use of fresh and sustainable
produce in kitchens across the Philippines.
There’s cooking demos too. Hindy Weber, showed us
how to create a dish that makes use of ingredients all available at our
local market. Sabrina Artadi shares how she cooks her Instant Pot recipe. It's filled
with soothing spices such as rosemary leaves, turmeric, and thyme to help
uplift your mood when you need it most. Chef Tenten and celebrity cook Xandra
Rocha cooked their version of grilled sinigang chicken, crispy binagoongan, and spicy
caldereta.
McCormick Food Trucks provided samples of dishes cooked tastefully and flavorfully
with McCormick herb and spices, Karaage, Teriyaki, Tempura… etc. And there’s a healthy
smoothie samples as well, made especially tasty with Mccormick spices.
