The leg was attended by more than 500 mentees and 100 mentors from the creative and non-creative industry.

The event was also graced by DTI Sec. Ramon Lopez and Former Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Francis Tolentino.
Ang maganda kasi sa creativity and innovation yun bang it separates great companies to good companies. What keeps a company going is really creativity and innovation. Continuous innovation is the key… Big companies would even need innovation for their business model to continue and even their business models would have to be innovative otherwise maiiwan po at matatabunan ng ibang up and coming entrepreneurs. The other good thing about instilling creativity and innovation in your business model is it really elevates your business model, value adding,” Sec. Lopez highlighted.
MMOW Creativity and Innovation presented mentors from the creative industry who imparted their know-how and technical skills to the participants. Mentors from the creative industry were Bernie Liu, CEO & President of Golden ABC Inc.; Rajo Laurel, Fashion Designer and Founder of House of Laurel; Jay Aldeguer, President of Island Souvenirs Group; Zarah Juan, Founder of Zarah Juan; and 100 more mentors! Moreover, Go Negosyo mentors from the non-creative industry also shared their expertise during the event. In the list were Rikki Dee, CEO Foodlink Group and Joel Santos, Managing Director and President THAMES International - Entrepreneurs School of Asia among others.
There is so much creativity in Filipinos. Hindi tayo mauubusan ng creativity, you know why? Because we’re fun people, we love to enjoy life as it should be enjoyed. Because of that, we have a very good foundation for creativity… This theme of creativity and innovation is very timely because to magnify the creativity of Filipinos we need innovation. Creativity alone will not bring us to a global platform. It is a good foundation but we need innovation,” said Golden ABC’s Bernie Liu.
