Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—reaffirms its focus on sustainable business practices as it announced its recent wins on environmental protection and stewardship. Recognizing the role of private sectors in minimizing plastic wastes that end up in the environment, PCPPI continues to practice light weighting to reduce their virgin plastic content in plastic packaging. The company said it had already reduced about 118 metric tons of plastic resin as of September 2021. This equates to almost six million single-serve Pepsi polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
