Heard about the One-Eyed Women Art Exhibit? It is an exhibit in celebration of the World Aids Day on Dec. 4 to 18, 2021 at the MET Live Mall Atrium, Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.  And the Artist behind this exhibit is a proud Filipino! Oftentimes, we hear of famous artist in the western world but rarely in the far-east in southeast Asia. Now you’ll get to know one. His name is Rommel Rico aka Virrco .   According to Virrco.net, Virrco is a New York-based artist who transforms his artworks into wearable art. He has done two well-received solo exhibits in New York and is known for his "Fishwives" artworks and colorful Filipiniana artworks as a tribute to his Filipino roots. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the daily activities of Filipinos, as well as their mental health. According to a study by mental health firm MindNation, more than half of Filipino workers have experienced mental health challenges this year.
