Presidential Adviser (PA) for Entrepreneurship and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (Go Negosyo) Founder Joey Concepcion was recently conferred with the Padma Shri Award, the fourth highest civilian award from the Republic of India.  President Rodrigo Roa Duterte congratulated him as the sole Filipino recipient of the prestigious award.   The other awardees were Indian citizens from various sectors.    In a letter to PA Concepcion that duly recognized this feat, President Duterte lauded his work in ensuring the success of micro-, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) over the past two decades, which has opened opportunities, boosted businesses and uplifted the lives of the Filipino people, especially the poor. “You make us all very proud and I am very glad that you are part of this administration,” President Duterte added.   PA Concepcion has thanked President Duterte for his support to the private sector initiatives led by the Philipp...

The video that I watched from Empire East brought me to my laptop to write something. I am touched!   It brought me back to memories from way way back.
