Hanabishi partners with Inquirer to honor mothers thru the Inquirer Read-Along event with Pauleen Luna-Sotto

For this year, Hanabishi Appliances joined the Inquirer Foundation’s yearly activity tagged “Inquirer Read-Along” last May 15 as it dedicated its session to mothers.  Actress and TV host Pauleen Luna-Sotto joined teachers Ann Abacan and Dyali Justo in reading to the kids who pre-registered for the event.

Hanabishi shares the same advocacy with the Inquirer, honoring mothers and in giving importance to quality family time.

As Hanabishi Appliances Marketing Consultant Ronwaldo Villanueva said:

“Kami po sa Hanabishi ay masayang nakikiisa sa Inquirer Read-Along sa kanilang advocacy na nagpapahalaga sa bonding ng pamilya, lalo na ng mga mommies at kanilang mga anak. He added that this has been one of the guiding principles of Hanabishi - being a practical partner of mommies and making it easier for them to do their roles at home. Not only did Hanabishi bring along Pauleen to the Inquirer Read-Along, they also gave away prizes for the children who joined the Zoom event. Winners of the Q&A portion received a Hanabishi blender, microwave oven, griller, food steamer, rice cooker, deep fryer, hand mixer, grill, gas stove, and turbo broiler. All the kiddie participants received an industrial floor fan and hand mixer.

 “Maging masigasig kayo mga bata sa pagbabasa. Samantala, mga nanay, patuloy ninyong suportahan ang hilig ng inyong mga anak sa pagbabasa. Ito ang daan upang sila ay magtagumpay sa laban ng buhay (Always be passionate about reading, kids. Mothers, always support your children’s love of reading. This will help them overcome the challenges in life),” she said.

Launched by the Philippine Daily Inquirer in 2007, the Inquirer Read-Along aims to promote love of reading among children.
