In a grand celebration of excellence, the Asia Leaders Awards recently honored 20 outstanding individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to society.

The prestigious awards, organized by Tag Media Group, meticulously selected honorees based on criteria such as grit, sustainability, societal impact, and overall success. These exceptional men and women are recognized as true nation builders, wielding significant influence among their peers.


Here are the categories and honorees at the 6th Asia Leaders Awards.

The awards night was a powerful celebration attended by the families and colleagues of these iconic individuals. The program kicked off with a welcome address from the former Senator, DILG Secretary, former Governor of Laguna and The Manila Hotel President, Atty. Jose David Lina, followed by a keynote address from Glenda Dela Cruz of Brilliant Skin Essentials, one of the youngest entrepreneurs in skincare.


The companies of the year were the best from the rest of the nominations and from diverse industries; Food, Human Capital, Information Technology, Business Process Outsourcing and Retail Technology.




In Franchising, Shawarma Shack was represented by its Founder and CEO Walther Uzi Buenavista;  Human Capital under Viventis Asia was represented by its Founder and Managing Director, Malaysian Yu Ming Chin;  Global Company of the Year, 247 Customer Philippines, was represented by their Finance Director Rohith Gujjar;  For Realme who bagged the Technology Company of the Year, two from their companies came, Patricia Gonzales and Serene Cruz while for Atos Philippines, their President/CEO Jenirre Torres received the award under Global IT.

 

Andria Terese Nicolas, Vice President of Tag Media Group, emphasized that these honorees are the nation builders of today and the next generation. His Excellency Malaysia Ambassador Dato Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, a board adviser of the organization, also inspired the audience.

 

The event saw the presence of distinguished guests, among them were Bret and Marisol Campbell from the US Embassy, Embassy of Romania William Anton Korbl, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office General Manager Mel Robles, Atty. Carmela Lumagui, Dr. Elton See Tan of The E Hotels and Philippine Korea Economic Council, Makati Tourism Foundation Inc. Tanyu III, Choy Bernardo of Jcuppacakes, Robert Laurel Yupangco of Yupangco Group, Andrew and Grace Nicolas of Tag Media Group, Darius Razon, Philippine Red Cross Governor Baby Ortiz, Manuel Negado, Ethiopia Consul David Ackerman and Atty. Salvador Panelo among others.

 

The objective of the Asia Leaders Awards is to highlight and recognize nominees who stand out among thousands, inspiring the nation. These awards are bestowed upon world-class leaders in both the private and public sectors.
