On a night
that celebrated culture, elegance, and influence, fashion designer Kenny Ladaga
took center stage at “Principalia”, held last March 31 at the prestigious
Makati Shangri-La. Produced by TAG Media Group, under the visionary leadership
of Grace Bondad Nicolas, the event highlighted not only the artistry of
Filipino fashion but also the power of women making waves in society today.
As part of Asia Leaders Awards’ People to Watch 2025, the runway was graced by real-life muses—remarkable women whose work and leadership are shaping the present and future of the Philippines. In Kenny Ladaga’s couture creations, these Women of Power and Purpose embodied modern-day principalia: bold, empowered, and influential.
A Collection
Rooted in Heritage, Refined for Today
Kenny Ladaga’s collection for “Principalia” was a stunning homage to Filipino elegance. Each piece combined intricate craftsmanship with contemporary flair—flowing silhouettes, hand-embroidered details, rich fabrics, and modern structures came together in a sophisticated display of fashion that honored tradition while pushing creative boundaries.
Known for his ability to fuse classic Filipino aesthetics with bold innovation, Ladaga delivered a show that went beyond fashion—it was an experience, a celebration of identity and strength.

At the heart of the showcase were Ladaga’s muses—women leaders who personify grace, resilience, and purpose. Each of them wore custom pieces designed to reflect their individual power and influence, embodying the spirit of leadership through fashion:
• Maria Barbie Anne Arcache, the National Leader of LGBT Pilipinas Taguig City and a celebrated beauty queen, brought poise and pride to the runway. In a striking ensemble by Ladaga, she represented inclusivity, beauty, and courage.
• Gabrielle
Hahn Lopez, daughter of former Congressman Manny Lopez and a rising figure
under the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI), wore a
refined and powerful look, merging old-world elegance with youthful diplomacy
and global ambition.
• Andria
Terese Nicolas, Vice President of TAG Media Group and publisher of Rising
Tigers Magazine, InCharge Magazine, and Top News Asia, embodied media
leadership in a gown that mirrored her dynamic role in shaping narratives of
influence and empowerment across platforms.
• Glenda
Hufano, Past District Governor of Kiwanis International, Philippine Luzon
District, and an accomplished entrepreneur, captivated the crowd in a piece
that reflected her philanthropic spirit and leadership legacy.
• Glenda
Dela Cruz, the young and dynamic CEO of Beauty Empire under Brilliant Skin
Essentials, brought modern glamour to the stage. Her ensemble was a celebration
of youth, business acumen, and unapologetic success.
• Grace
Bondad Nicolas, the powerhouse behind TAG Media Group, wore a commanding
creation that epitomized visionary leadership. As the producer of “Principalia”
and President of Rising Tigers Magazine, her presence was both the culmination
and the soul of the evening.
Fashion as a
Platform for Empowerment
In her remarks, Grace Bondad Nicolas emphasized the importance of recognizing leaders in all forms. “These women represent the new principalia—not just of lineage or name, but of contribution, compassion, and courage,” she shared.
The event,
covered by Rising Tigers Magazine, served as a celebration of modern Filipino
excellence. With TAG Media Group at the helm, “Principalia” merged heritage and
innovation, fashion and leadership, beauty and strength.
